The reduction of activity in the fishing sector not only affects the thousands of families who find their economic livelihood in it, but also has a second derivative. However, the rebound in new construction contracts that are coming to the Rías Baixas shipyards offers good prospects for the sector. After receiving 12 new orders in the first seven months of the year, the shipyards expanded their order book to twenty units.
